School Nursing Team

Whilst your child is attending The Chiltern School, they will be able to receive the health interventions as outlined below:

• Growth monitoring.
• Specific health interventions for your child’s health needs as identified on the Care Plan.
• Giving of prescribed medication.
• Giving of age appropriate paracetamol.
• Annual health assessment to identify your child’s health needs.

ALL prescribed medication MUST clearly display a chemist label stating name of medicine, child’s name, and full instructions of dosage.

If there are any changes to your child’s medication it is your responsibility to inform the school with a letter from the Doctor / Consultant with the changes.
